|| REUSING OUR PLASTIC: VERTICAL HANGING GARDEN.....
By this way you can use plastic bottles to make something amazing out of them. Re-purpose those old bottles, which you usually throw away to grow your favorite plants either indoor or outdoor and help to save our environment.
This plastic bottle vertical garden is made of by stringing the bottles horizontally in a grid along an interior wall, which then filled up by substrate and herbs.

|| The NSS unit of SSGI Bhilai participated in the state government funded Vrihat Afforestation Program at Kodia, Durg held on Saturday, 12thAug.2016.
Dr. D.S. Raghuwanshi(Programme Officer, NSS SSGI), Mrs. Madhuri Gupta(Program Officer, NSS SSGI Girls Unit) and Mr. Rajkumar Jhapte(Associate Professor,SSGI) escorted the strong force of 200 NSS volunteers to support the cause of planting in this industrial age. Each of the 200 present volunteers planted a tree on their own. The SSGI unit eagerly reported and carried out planting of saplings which would grow into sturdy shady canopies. Afforestation has been stressed upon since a long time but subdued ignorance by the industrialists has again reminded of the importance of forest cover on not only the region but the planet Earth itself. The new and enthusiastic volunteers of NSS SSGI actively made their presence prominent in the State Govt. Organized Plantation Drive. The senior volunteers led the unit and briefed the procedure and importance of afforestation while the newcomers enjoyed their first activity as NSS volunteers of the unit. The program couldn’t have been successful without the cooperation of Dr. P.B. Deshmukh, Director, SSTC.
The NSS unit will be thankful to the college management including Mr. I.P. Mishra, President, SGES and Mrs. Jaya Mishra, Vice-President, SGES; for providing us the bus facilities and other necessary infra-structure.
