Prafull Madhukar Tarwatkar 07-04-2015 St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology NH - 07, Gavasi Manapur, Wardha Road, nagpur - 441108 On the eve of August 15, 2014, our Independence Day, Tree plantation was organized by NSS Unit along with Rotary Club, Nagpur. The main motto of this event is to make student aware of responsibility towards our Mother Nature. NSS volunteers planted more than 300 saplings in various areas of campus. The tree plantation was successfully done under NSS Unit and was Coordinated by Prof. Anthony Augustine, Mechanical Department and Prof. Prafull Tarwatkar, Electrical Department. Faculty coordinator from various departments, Prof. Kanchan Wagh, Electronics & Telecommunication department, Prof. Manali Khedkar, Information Technology, Prof. Ashwini Kheole, Computer Engineering Department, Prof. Sayali Kanhav, Basic Science & Humanities and Prof. Ashlesha Ingole, Sports Coordinator put their efforts in making the event successful. NSS volunteers from various departments worked hard for the success of this program.
Dr. D S Chouhan 06-04-2015 Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur NSS One Day Camp Date : 7.09.2013 Location: 1 Venue: Mehrun Ka Guda Time: 9:30am to 2:30pm Under the guidance of Dr. DS Chouhan (program officer) and Mr. Harish Tiwari (asst. program officer), theNSS team SPSUvisited govt. school in Mehrun ka guda a place nearby Udaipur city. There the volunteer performed various activities as listed below 1. BMI index –In this very event we took measurements Ofheight and weight of all the students present in the school and calculated their body mass index. The data gave us quite a good idea about their body compositions. Being underweight, overweight and obese leads to large amount of disease like heart disease, hyper tension, gallbladder disease etc. It was shocking to see results as large amount of children were underweight in the school. 2. Hygiene awareness- In this event our volunteerspread awareness aboutcleanliness and hygiene among students of various ages. By the use of video and animation the session was made more interactive. 3. Computer education – We NSS volunteers took the privilege of giving proper computer education to the secondary school students. Student were given detailed explanation of Microsoft office and other software applications which can be utilized by the students in their daily life. 4. Drawing Event-This event was mainly participated by primary school students as this event was to see the creativity and imagination of small children. 5.Career counselling – All the secondary school students were given a career counselling by our NSS volunteers, The event begin with a small group therapy session, then the students were given a forms to fill up their career goals and other essentials. On these forms personal interview were taken by our members. 6. Tree plantation- At the end of the camp in govt. school all the volunteers performed plantation along the boundary wall of the primary school. Location: 2 Venue: Fatehsagar Lake, Udaipur Timing: 3:00pm to 4:30pm As thisis a public place volunteers conducted rallies on different social issues. Main aim was to spread social awareness among general masses. Issues covered in there rallies were- 1. Voting in elections 2. Save girl child 3. Aids prevention 4. Environmental protection 5. Prevention from Polio disease 6. Blood donation Location: 3 Venue: Shukhadia circle, Udaipur Timing: 4:30pm to 5:30 pm Distributed paper bags to the shopkeepers as an alternative to the plastic bags. Sample of bags were distributed & also explained them how they can be made, & how much they are efficient. We ended this campaign with a small workshop conducted with shopkeepers on the procedure of how to make the paper bags.
Namrata Mukherjee 25-03-2015 GUWAHATI, ASSAM We are a team who leads local initiatives and public awareness campaigns. We paraded a development rally with banners and with a group of 40+ students we advocated a plantation drive in Digholi Pukhuri, Chenikuthi, Ambari in Guwahati.

Amravati Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth Akola Our NSS Volunteers of undergraduate JJ-Series were organised the Plantation Programme at Pimpalkhuta Dist. Amravati Local ZP schoool in the presence of Village Sarpanch & School Headmaster.
PUSHPARAJA 02-03-2015 NSS PROGRAM OFFICER GOVT PU COLLEGE , KUMBRA PUTTUR , D.K DIST. KARNATAKA - 574210 Our NSS volunteers are made meaningful one day program in our college through planting different fruit plants inside the campus in 1.11.2014.
Archana Rajput 01-03-2015 PO NSS GOVT GIRLS INTER COLLEGE BAREILLY UP 100 plants(50Ashoka 50kachnar)were planted in the College campus on 22 july2014 by the PO with the help of the Volunteers,Principal, teachers and the staff .

Dr. Sujeet Kumar Sinha 12-02-2015 Lecturer in Audiology and NSS programme Officer All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mansagangothri, Mysore-570006 50 NSS volunteers from All India Institute of Speech and Hearing cleaned the area for Tree plantation and made the pits and planted around 50 tree saplings.
