Dr. Sa 21-11-2012 Programme Coordinator NSS,Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar, Haryana NSS volunteers helped in the plantation in the university campus. The basic objective of the programme was to sensitize the students towards environmental concerns, to inculcate the value of organizational commitment and WE feeling and ultimately to make the campus green. Various kinds of plants have been planted by the students in the university campus.

Lovely Professional University 02-11-2012 Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar - Delhi G.T. Road (NH-1), Phagwara, Punjab (India) - 144411 Email Id- nss.csc@lpu.co.in Green Revolution was done by NSS in collaboration with School of Pharmaceutical sciences and planted 410 Sapling inside the campus and coined the name as herbal garden on 24th July. Only those volunteers who were from the concern discipline were selected and were appointed for the project. In the presence of Registrar Dr.Monika Gulati and Director General Er. H.R Singla of the university. Herbal Garden was prepared and regularly maintained by the NSS Volunteers. Students were highly motivated before, during and after the plantation. These medicinal plants were collected from Himachal Pradesh and included 90 rare and endangered species like Ginko biloba, celestrus panniculatus, asparagus adscendens etc.

RAVI KANT MODI 11-10-2012 LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI PG COLLEGE, TILAK NAGAR, JAIPUR We have organized a one day NSS camp for plantation and cleanness in which around 259 students take part and 300 different plants have been planted. we have 3 units of NSS in our college thats why we have around 320 NSS students. So many newspaper have published our plantation news like Rajasthan Patrika, Daily News, Mahanagar Times. It has been a great camp for us.
