The saplings were embedded into the pits which were then filled up with bio manure and soft muds. The joy of planting the tress was seen on the faces of one and all.
In all around 50 plants were planted in and aroud the campus. Later on 5o plants were planted in the community with participation of the children and women of the locality. They were all thrilled to see us singing in their compunds. A signature campaign to take care of the plants was also started. Each one took an oath to work for the green of the society.
The event ended with a green tea party with samosas from the canteen. All were seen with soiled hands as the rule of game asked each one to not wash hands till the start of the tea party. Infact it was NSS in Joyous form.
