|| I felt pleasure to see my self as NSS volunteer, which made me too social that is truly need in my medical profession. i have attended two campaign related to polio eradication campaign during National Polio Eradication session in Aligarh district, Uttar Pradesh from 14 Sept to 23 Sept 2008 and from 21 Dec to 30 Dec 2008 during my medical graduation in Aligarh Muslim University. This was first instance where i exposed to the slum and low socioeconomic status community, which driven me towards the public health instead of going towards clinical. The NSS program is good initiative to orient the youth towards the community, society and nations irrespective of region, religion, caste and others social barrier.
