SUSHIL KANWA 04-12-2012 NSS PROGRAMME OFFICER GOVT.SR.SEC.SCHOOL MEWLA MAHARAJPUR FARIDABAD. HARYANA. मेवला महाराजपुर सरकारी स्कूल में एड्स दिवस मनाया गया 01 दिसम्बर 2012 को आने वाले विश्व एड्स दिवस( 01.12.2012 ) की पूर्व बेला पर राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय मेवला महाराजपुर फरीदाबाद की राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना इकाई ( एन.एस.एस. युनिट ) ने बढ -चढ कर भाग लेकर इस अभियान को सफल बनाने के लिये वचनबद्ध हें इसी अवसर पर एन.एस.एस. अधिकारी सुशील कणवा की रेख देख में आज दिनांक 30.11.2012 को स्कूल में एड्स जानकारी बढ़ाने हेतू जागरूकता के लिए विशाल रैली का आयोजन किया गया | आज सुबह विधालय में प्रार्थना के समय एन.एस.एस. युनिट के प्रभारी सुशील कणवा ने सारे स्कूल के छात्रो को एड्स के विषय पर बोलते हुये बताया की एड्स क्या है और किस प्रकार एड्स बीमारी फैलती है और इससे अपने आप को बचाने के क्या उपाय है उन्होंने बताया की असुरक्षित यौन सम्बन्ध,संक्रमित सुइयों का प्रयोग, संक्रमित रक्त चढ़ाने और गर्भ में पल रहे या स्तनपान से बच्चे को संक्रमित माँ से यह रोग फैलता है ।संक्रमित व्यक्ति से हाथ मिलाने ,मच्छरों के काटने से ,संक्रमित व्यक्ति के कपड़ो के प्रयोग से ,संक्रमित व्यक्ति की देखभाल करने से यह रोग नही फैलता | स्कूल की प्रिंसिपल श्रीमती सन्देश सोलंकी ने भी बच्चो को सावधानी बरतने व इस बीमारी से बच कर रहने की बात कही । सुबह विधालय में प्रार्थना के बाद स्कूल की एन.एस.एस. युनिट के स्वयंसेवको ने एड्स जागरूकता रेली गांव मेवला महाराजपुर की गलीयो में निकाली व इस अवसर पर स्कूल प्रिंसिपल श्रीमती सन्देश सोलंकी , एन.एस.एस. अधिकारी सुशील कणवा , शिव रतन पी .टी .आई . , गिरीश भारद्वाज , नीरू ,रीता,अनीता, सरला मुन्झाल व स्कूल का स्टाफ व् स्कूल के एन .एस .एस . इकाई के स्वयंसेवक व् अन्य 100 बच्चो ने बढ़ चढ़ कर भाग लिया ।
N.Rahul 03-12-2012 Annai Vailankanni College of Engineering AVK Nagar, Pothaiyadi Salai Azhagappapuram.P.O, K.K.District Tamil Nadu - 629 401 Annai Vailankanni college of Engineering on December 1 2012 worth fully organized an awareness program on AIDS on the Theme GETTING TO ZERO for the NSS Volunteers and School Students. The theme clearly emphasized the mission on getting to zero without aids in near future. For students it also brought a picture on how AIDS is transmitted, and created awareness on how to avoid AIDS, also how to treat AIDS affected persons. The awareness program clearly brought out the picture of availability of treatment likes Anti retroviral therapy for aids affected persons which should be expanded and the role of student and young community in spreading this message to the world. The Mission should be Getting to zero by fixing up a goal. A small mime show related to awareness of AIDS was performed by first year NSS Nearly 60 students from various schools in kanyakumari district and 40 NSS volunteers was been the part of the program. The awareness program was greeted by all the students over there, as a peaceful source of Information. The placement officer of the college Mr. S. Melwin was the chief guest inaugurating the session and encouraged the gathering .Industrial Relations officer and NSS programme officer in charge Mr.N.Rahul presented the general awareness on AIDS based on the Theme
Rashmi Walia 03-12-2012 DAV Model School Sector 15 A Chandigarh NSS unit, Health Club and students of D.ced of DAV Model School, sector 15 A Chd, observed World AIDS day today in the school, to spread awareness about HIV AIDS Dr Poonam Khurana coordinator Health club gave a PowerPoint presentation in which she highlighted the importance of preventive measures regarding the disease. She highlighted the social stigma about AIDS and moral duty of the students to provide helping hand to the effected people. Students of D.ced presented a play. Through it explained the myths about how AIDS spreads.Students also made message giving posters and put on the red ribbon sign on all the staff members. Dr Rakesh Sachdeva Principal of the school encouraged the senior students to spread awareness regarding this disease amongst the youth.Programme officer urged the students to aware the masses in the society as prevention is the best cure for AIDS.
Rashmi Walia 27-11-2012 DAV Model School Sector 15 Chandigarh A seven day sleep over camp was organised at DAV Model School, Sector 15 Chandigarh from 20th to 26th November 2012 in the village Khuda Ali Sher. The camp was organised by the NSS officers of the school, Mrs. Rashmi Walia, Mrs. Jaishi and Mr. Rajnish. Inauguration ceremony was solemnised by Mr.Bikram Rana NSS liaison Officer of Chandigarh and was presided over by the principal of the school Dr (Mrs) Rakesh Sachdeva.The NSS Volunteers were trained under various group activities like personality development, workshop on fine arts yoga exercises, aerobics, sports and many more. Havan was done to bless the volunteers.Various lectures on spirituality, environment and health, carrier counseling were organised.The volunteers also participated in the rally to aware the villagers. A special free medical checkup was held where free medicines were also distributed to the villagers. The volunteers held the cleanliness drive in the village. The Principal Dr (Mrs) Rakesh Sachdeva encouraged the participants to learn as much as they can from the camp. She also emphasised that the camp is meant for the developing personality traits in the volunteers. The volunteers were also blessed and motivated by the programme officers.
Rashmi Walia 27-11-2012 DAV Model School Sector 15 Chandigarh NSS unit, Peace Club and Eco club Celebrated Diwali with great pomp and show. The entire show was filled with religious fervour. Various dances speeches and songs were presented by the students. The NSS volunteers and students took pledge for safe Diwali without bursting crackers. A play was enacted by NSS volunteers showing the abuse of crackers later on a anti cracker was organised in the area to educate the people to say no to crackers. The principal Dr (Mrs) Rakesh Sachdeva congratulate the students and the teachers for Diwali and joined the students to take pledge for a safe Diwali.
Rashmi Walia 27-11-2012 DAV Model School Sector 15 chandigarh The SSP of city beautiful Mr Naunihal Singh Ji paid his maiden visit to a private school in the town today. His object was to disseminate information to the students against eve teasing. The C.ED department, NSS, PEACE Club and the NCC wing of the school jointly organised the visit of the Super Cop. He delivered a talk to the students, in which he repeatedly interacted with them, answering their queries. As a patient listener he answered to each and every of their questions thereby. He told us to call at no 100 till the problem is solved. He also told the students (both boys and girls) about the harmful consequences of eve teasing. He told them that in such a case the students may not get any kind of job in government or private sector. By tarnishing their record their foreign visit may also not be possible. A mock drill call was also made by the school, to which the cops from outside responded promptly. The SSP said he was on a mission to restore the people’s confidence in the police, and to a great extent he was successful, but the mission is still on. The principal of the school, Dr (Mrs.) Rakesh Sachdeva expressed her gratitude to the police officer for his visit. ‘His effort of scavenging the dirt of eve teasing from the society is worth admiring.’ she said. The students of the school listened to the SSP with a very inquisitive attitude. They felt that he was very calm and interactive and they enjoyed his visit.
Rashmi Walia 27-11-2012 DAV Model School Sector 15 Chandigarh A legal rights awareness lecture was organised by the NSS volunteers of DAV 15 Chd in the school campus. Mrs. Savita Saxena, Legal adviser attached with the State Legal Services Authority was the chief guest at the occasion enlightened the volunteers regarding the Para legal rights and duties related to citizen’s fundamental rights. She also motivated them to make use of these rights provided to them by our constitution at the right time when needed the most. She specifically mentioned about domestic violence act and gender discrimination. An intensive interaction session was also held to satisfy the queries of the students. Dr (Mrs.) Rakesh Sachdeva principal advised them to be disciplined by following these guidelines and be positive and confident while interacting with the society. Two students who had won cash prize and commendation certificates issued by SLSA for their meritorious participation were felicitated during the occasion. Programme officers Mrs. Rashmi Walia, Mrs. Jaishi and Mr. Rajnish Sharma and the members of SLSA Committee of the school Dr Poonam Khurana and Mr. Sanjay Bajaj also contributed in the interactive Lecture session.
Dr. Sandeep Rana 21-11-2012 Programme Coordinator NSS, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar, Haryana NSS Day celebration (24-09-2012) National Service Scheme celebrated NSS day on 24-09-2012. A cultural programme was organized on this occasion by NSS volunteers for highlighting the relevance of NSS in the society. Hisar range I.G. Mr. Arshinder Singh Chawla as chief guest of the occasion sensitized the youth towards the relevance of discipline in life. He also highlighted that moral values play significant role in the smooth functioning of society. Dr. M.L. Ranga, Vice-chancellor said that self-extension is must in nation building. Dr. Sandeep Rana, Programme Coordinator, NSS emphasized the role of NSS in inculcating human values of sharing, empathy and we feeling among youth.
Dr. Sandeep Rana 21-11-2012 Programme Coordinator NSS, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar, Haryana Pre –Republic Day Screening Camp (14-09-2012) NSS organized Pre-Republic Day Parade screening camp for this region at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar on 14 September 2012. NSS youth officer Dr.( Mrs.) Harinder Kaur from NSS regional centre Delhi, state liaison officer Dr. Charanjeet Kaur helped in the screening of NSS volunteers for pre-republic –Day parade.
