UNIT OF SHRI S.Z.WAGHELA HIGH SCHOOL KHAMBHAT ORGANISED A "DANTYAGNYA"ON 28TH SEPTEMBER,2011.IN WHICH 374 STUDENTS OF THE SCHOOL UNDERWENT A CHECK UP OF THEIR TOOTH.THE CHECK UP WAS MADE BY DR.GAURANGBHAI BAVAJI FROM MEGHA HOSPITAL CAMBAY.THE PRINCIPAL OF THE SHRI GHANSHYAMSINH CHAVDA ( THE RASTRAPATI AWARDS VIJETA) EXPLAINED THE STUDENTS WHICH STEPS CAN BE TAKEN TO MAKE THE TEETH STRONG AND HEALTHY.THE WHOLE PROGRAME WAS MANAGED BY THE N.S.S.PROGRAME OFFICER DR.R.B.LASHKRI.
Sona NSS 29-09-2011 Sona College of Technology, Salem, Tamil Nadu, www.sonatech.ac.in On 24th September 2011, our NSS wing has conducted a road rally on the theme of “LIVE SAFE LIVE LONG” in regards with NSS day celebration to create awareness among the public about the importance of road safety, human values, blood donation, organ donation and child labour in Salem City. Around 100 volunteers from our NSS wing and other clubs like YRC & RRC, NCC, TREMORS, WOMEN DEVELOPMENT WING, TAMIL MANDRAM also took part in this grand rally. All together around 700 students actively participated in the rally. We started from Sona College main gate at 11a.m. and rally went through New Bus Stand – Saradha College – Alagapuram – five roads and back to Sona College. We successfully ended the rally at 1.00p.m.
Sona NSS 29-09-2011 Sona College of Technology, Salem, Tamil Nadu, www.sonatech.ac.in On 18th September, 2011, Our NSS Wing of Sona College Of Technology joined hands with S.K.S hospital at Thammanaickenpatti, near seelanaikenpatti by-pass Salem.The Camp was started at 9.00am.The people in the village were screened height, weight, blood pressure, blood sugar level, ulcer, fever and cold by 2 doctors, 5 lab technicians, 6 assistants and a marketing executive was also accompanied by them from the Hospital. Around 112 volunteers actively participated in the One day camp & 400 people from the village were benefited by this camp and free medicines were provided to the people .The camp was successfully ended at 3pm.
Rashmi Walia 29-09-2011 Programme Officer DAV Model School Sector 15 Chandigarh About 60 volunteers participated in the cleanliness drive on 29thseptember 2011 held at village Khuda Ali Sher (UT).the programme officers Mrs. Rashmi Walia and Mr. Rajneesh were part of the job. This project was held in collaboration of British Council Of India an international organization. The motto of the mission was “I love My Mother Earth”. The volunteers cleaned the areas near the temple, main road, adjoing lanes and near the gurudwara in the village .Their effort were appreciated by the village sarpanch Mr. Jasbir and other members of the village. The residents realised the importance of the cleanliness in their periphery

First Grade college Chickballapur, Karnataka has organised MEGA HEALTH CAMP ON THE OCCASSION OF NSS DAY CELEBRARTION ON 24-09-2011 in association with RED RIBBON CLUB, INDIAN RED CROSS SOCIETY, SIDDI AYURVEDIC CENTRE, BANGALORE, RISHI SAMSKRUTHI FOUNDATION, PATHANJALI YOGA SIMITHI CHICKBALLAPUR. AROUND TWO HUNDRED PATIENTS OF THE TOWN AND RURAL AREAS OF CHICKBALLAPUR HAVE BEEN TREATED BY THE DOCTORS AND ALSO FREE MEDICINES HAVE BEEN DISTRIBUTED. THE LOCAL MLA SRI.K.P.BACCHE GOWDA INAUGURATED THE CAMP. MEDICAL OFFICER OF SIDDI AYURVEDIC CENBTRE BANGALORE, DR.SARITHA RAO, PHYSICIAN OF DISTRICT GOVT. HOSPITAL DR. SHIVAPPA, WERE THE CHIEF GUSETS. THE PRINCIPAL OF THE COLLEGE PROF. B.V.KRISHNAPPA PRESIDED OVER THE PRTOGRAMME. THE NSS OFFICER OF NSS UNIT-2C PROF. B.R. VENKATARAMU COMPERED THE PROGRAMME AND COORDINATED THE CAMP ACTIVITIES.
B Bijukumar 27-09-2011 Programme Officer Govt. Higher Secondary School Ayaparampu, Alappuzha We have celebrated National Heart Day with a programme "Let us walk..... to health....". A group of 100 volunteers, leaded by the Principal, made a walk along village streets, with NSS song and NSS clap.
