|| Along with world diabetic foundation Kerala chapter, our unit has made an awareness programme – Know diabetics and No diabetics. Along with chapter members our volunteers walked about 12km, carrying the logo, the blue circle. A week long programme cover 14 major cities in two districts of Kerala - Alappuzha and Pathanamthitta.

|| The NSS unit of The Rajaas Engineering College,Vadakkangulam has conducted an AIDS awareness program for the benefit of the under graduate students . The program was inaugurated by the principal Dr. S. Bhagawathi Perumal during his inaugural address he illustrated the tragedy and suffering of AIDS disease. The program was further forwarded by Mr.Manikandan, District Manager ,RRC, in his address he explained the concepts such as, Basic Information on HIV AIDS,Transmission of HIV AIDS, Testing of HIV AIDS, Risk Reduction, Diagnosis and Treatment of HIV AIDS, Children, Adolescents Young Adults and HIV AIDS,Resources on HIV AIDS
The program was arranged and vote of thanks was given Mr.G.Justin Sunil Dhas, Program Officer ,NSS UNIT of The Rajaas Engineering College.

John College Conducting Eye care screening camp on 17th October, 2011 in collaboration with Narayana Netralaya super specialty eye hospital at Subhash nagar village, Begur Hobli, Bangalore south district. the subhash Nagar village has population of 20.000 people out of which 30 percent are having eye problems.

UNIT OF SHRI S.Z.WAGHELA HIGH SCHOOL KHAMBHAT ORGANISED A "DANTYAGNYA"ON 28TH SEPTEMBER,2011.IN WHICH 374 STUDENTS OF THE SCHOOL UNDERWENT A CHECK UP OF THEIR TOOTH.THE CHECK UP WAS MADE BY DR.GAURANGBHAI BAVAJI FROM MEGHA HOSPITAL CAMBAY.THE PRINCIPAL OF THE SHRI GHANSHYAMSINH CHAVDA ( THE RASTRAPATI AWARDS VIJETA) EXPLAINED THE STUDENTS WHICH STEPS CAN BE TAKEN TO MAKE THE TEETH STRONG AND HEALTHY.THE WHOLE PROGRAME WAS MANAGED BY THE N.S.S.PROGRAME OFFICER DR.R.B.LASHKRI.

|| On 24th September 2011, our NSS wing has conducted a road rally on the theme of “LIVE SAFE LIVE LONG” in regards with NSS day celebration to create awareness among the public about the importance of road safety, human values, blood donation, organ donation and child labour in Salem City. Around 100 volunteers from our NSS wing and other clubs like YRC & RRC, NCC, TREMORS, WOMEN DEVELOPMENT WING, TAMIL MANDRAM also took part in this grand rally. All together around 700 students actively participated in the rally. We started from Sona College main gate at 11a.m. and rally went through New Bus Stand – Saradha College – Alagapuram – five roads and back to Sona College. We successfully ended the rally at 1.00p.m.
