Dr pramila mohan,Prog.Off.NDS 26-09-2009 Ramjas College, univ. of delhi Two day Eye care camp was organised for students, teaching& non teaching staff. on 14-15 Sept 09 in collaboration with Johnson & Johnson ,held at the Ramjas college campus.
JOBIN SEBASTIAN 19-09-2009 VOLUNTEER SECRATARY NSS UNIT NO 18 GOVT AYURVEDA COLLEGE TRIPPUNITHURA KOCHI KERALA WE HAD CONDUCTED AN AWARENESS CAMPAIGN AGANIST SWINE FLU AT RLV COLLEGE TRIPPUNITHURA KOCHI ON 9 SEPTEMBER AND AT GOVT ARTS COLLEGE TRIPPUNITHURA ON SEPTEMBER15 AND AROUND1000 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE CAMP AND THEY WERE PROVIDED WITH BROCHURE CONTAINING DETAILS ABOUT ALL THE ASPECTS OF SWINE FLU.

KOCHE 07-09-2009 PROGRAMME OFFICER, NSS, INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE, SHRADDHANAND PETH, NAGPUR PIN-440022 TEACHERS DAY PROGRAMME WAS ORGANISED ON 5TH SEPT. 2009, THE BIRTH DAY OF SARWAPALLY RADHAKRISHNA, IN ITI CAMPUS. ALL NSS VOLUNTEERS TRAINEES & STAFF OF THE INSTITUTE PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAMME. TRAINEES PAY RESPECT TO THEIR INSTRUCTORS BY GIVING A ROSE. IFORMATION ON THE RELATIONSHIP OF TEACHERS & STUDENTS WAS GIVEN BY THE GUEST HON. ASHOK RANGARI PRINCIPAL & NARENDRA JOSHI, VICE PRINCIPAL I. T. I. NAGPUR. SOME STUDENTS i.e. STUDENTS REPRESENTATIVE SHREE VIKASH KHADATKAR & OTHES. TALK & DISCUSSION WAS ALSO ORGANISED ON THE IMPORTANCE & ROLE OF THE TEACHERS TO BUILD UP THE NATION & DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOCIETY. GUEST DISCUSS WITH THE VOLUNTEERS ABOUT THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES. DR. KOCHE TELL THE AIM AND OBJECTS OF OF NSS WITH RESPECT TO CONSTITUTION OF THE INDIA. HE REQUEST ALL TO PAY BACK THE SOCIETY & EDUCATE THE SOCIETY AS A HUMANIST. IT IS THE DUTY OF THE YOUTH TO SERVE THE SOCIETY.
JOBIN SEBASTIAN 30-08-2009 VOLUNTEER SECRETARY NSS UNIT 18 MG UNIVERSITY GOVT AYURVEDA COLLEGE TRIPUNITHURA ERNAKULAM KERALA BLOOD IS INEVITABLE IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS. IN ORDER TO PROMOTE THE IMPORTANCE OF BLOOD DONATION THE NSS UNIT OF GOVT AYURVEDA COLLEGE TRIPUNITHURA HAS DEVELOPED A BLOOD BANK CELL. THE CELL HAD COLLECTED THE DETAILS OF WILLING DONORS. THE COPIES OF THE SAME WILL BE SUBMITTED AT PANCHAYATS FOR EASY AVAILIBILITY. THE BLOODBANK CELL HAS 200 VOLUNTEERS FROM WITHIN THE COLLEGE KANJIKUZHY PANCHAYAT IDUKKY KERALA WAS ALSO BROUGHT UNSER THE CELL WITH 200 VOLUNTEERS IN THE LOCALITY
JOBIN SEBASTIAN 30-08-2009 VOLUNTEER SECRETARY NSS UNIT 18 MG UNIVERSITY GOVT AYURVEDA COLLEGE TRIPUNITHURA IN THE PRESENT SCENARIO WHERE SWINE FLU REMAINS AS A THREAT TO HUMAN LIFE, THE NSS UNIT OF GOVT AYURVEDA COLLEGE TRIPUNITHURA DECIDED TO ORGANISE AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS IN ORDER TO CURB THE VIRAL THREAT. AS A FIRST STEP THE NSS UNIT CONDUCTED A CLASS FOR THE STUDENTS OF THE COLLEGE AND HAD A TOTAL STRENGTH OF 200 VOLUNTEERS ATTENDING THE FUYNCTION. THE SESSION WAS HANDLED BY PROFICIENT DOCTORS SUCH AS Dr. SUDHIKUMAR MD(AY), Dr. SIDHARTHAN MBBS. THE FUNCTION WAS INAUGRATED BY THE PRINCIPAL Dr. REMANI BAI. THE INAUGRAL CAMPAIGN WAS AT GOVT. UP SCHOOL CHOORAKKAD, TRIPUNITHURA WITH 450 PARTICIPANTS THAT INCLUDED TEACHERS STUDENTS AND PARENTS. THE SECOND PROGRAMME WAS AT ST. FRANCIS LP SCHOOL PUTHIYAKAVU. ALMOST 700 PARTICIPANTS ATTENDED THE FUCTION HANDOUTS WERE DELIVERED AT EACH OF THESE FUNCTIONS. HANDOUTS HAD DETAILS REGARDING THE SYMPTOMS, MODES OF SPREAD AND PREVENTION METHODS. IT ALSO HAD ANIMATED CARTOONS FOR EASY UNDERSTANDING.
Ramesh Kumar 27-08-2009 Program Officer Bhilai Institute of Technology Durg Chhattisgarh 491001 Students of BIT had made poster presentation for awareness about Swine Flu on 27 Aug 09 in college campus. Posters were used for showing History, Frequently asked Question about Swine Flu, cause, reason, precaution, helpline no., hospitals details etc. Students had taken keen interest in viewing all the posters. Hony. Sect. Sri I.P. Mishra, Director, B.S.Narang, Principal Dr. M.K.Kowar had appericiated the way of presentation and also encoureged to distribute this message to the society. This type of programme first time it was organised in any technical colleges of Chhattisgarh. Around 400 posters were displayed on this awareness program. Being as a program officer I salute the students who had taken pain in organising such event.

About 250 villagers benefited form the event. Mr. Himal Pandya (NSS Coordinator, Bhavnagar) and Principles of PTC college & Local primary school also joined the program.
