The college is geographically situated in Tribal, Hilly and Naxal affected area; therefore the people who are living in such area stay away from the mainstream. The college has been taking unending effort to spread education over the ending boundaries of this area during last 30 years and even more try to connect heartily with the people. ‘Zaroorat - A need’ is united sustainable effort that works through contribution of society. The collection, starting and distribution are done with a proper planning, management and execution by NSS unit. Its main aim is to provide appropriate basic living needs from a place of abundance to a place of need. ‘Zaroorat - a need’ works on premise that one man’s waste can be another man’s richness. We doesn’t deal in money but in old household stuff as cloths, toys, books, etc. and other lots of basic needs durable goods, one of the basic human needs after food and shelter. One can donate almost everything like books, stationary, clothes, utensils, mobile, computer, bed sheets, toys, shoes...... anything in good condition that one don’t use any more might help someone in need. One can feel the sheer joy of giving. We have high hopes that those of us who are more fortunate will respond to the call of balance, care, compassion and will join hands with Zaroorat - a need. A small part of effort on your part can result in a big leap of difference for a fellow human being who is less fortunate. We work towards nullifying the misbalance caused by us our society, and people; and urge the ‘REDUCE REUSE, RECYCLE AND REALIZE’ mentality in living our daily lives. You are gifting a smile and happiness to many faces and families with sheer joy of giving.
